Ehh I feel like the "You Are Two" conclusion is a bit exaggerated. The patients he talks about might develop two quasi-independent minds, but with a normal, healthy link between hemispheres I doubt that sort of duality applies to most of us.

I agree, but I believe that was the point. That with the two hemispheres in communication the right one is silenced by the dominate, logical left, but when they are separated the right is no longer the beta, but an equal. At least that was my take from it.
