Why can't people let others enjoy freedom of information? If you don' t like a book, don't pick it up.

Why can't people understand that the average person doesn't want that kind of stuff in their life or in existence at all?

Kinda missed the point.

All one can do is speak to their own mind and care for those they are charged with caring for, such as family.

No one has the right to decide what someone else is permitted to read or how they can think and feel.

Making that decision for others puts one dangerously close to supporting the book burning camp even if they never light a match.

And what books did the Nazis burn?

Then tell me what books the Allies burned.

No, seriously, go look it up. I'll give you a starting point. Berlin, 1922.

Then tell me how deplatforming people because speech they don't like is any different.
