The Scots feel proper pissed about the UK wanting to leave the EU. They had a referendum about leaving the UK themselves BEFORE the UK voted to leave EU. Think the referendum votes in Scotland where an overwhelming majority in Staying in the EU. They feel shitted on severely and I don't blame them.

From what I gather the Northern-Irish are not that happy either about going out of the EU. Would mean there will be a border across Ireland again.

Not necessarily, if Britain joins EFTA (which is a participant of the Schengen agreement). This is what I consider as the most likely course anyway.
