If you're going to quit because you didn't get your way, you shouldn't have been there in the first place. If you're going to quit because of some bigotry, you didn't deserve to be there and represent your people/kind in the first place.

thing is, they don't technically "quit". They only quit the labor party, but they do keep their seat in parliament "representing their constituency" .
