Sorry, but yeah. Bringing such things up at every opportunity will just desensitize people to the concept, and they'll be less likely to care when things otherwise would have been bad enough to do provoke them to do something about it.
The muslim invasion of Europe is both real and horrible, and something should be done about it. However, I fail to see how reminding citizens and foreigners about it every time someone mentions a given country is going to fix that problem.
