Home Secretary Amber Rudd says police cuts have played no part in the surge in street killings

The UK is really scraping the bottom of the barrel to find politicians. This chick is too stupid to work a regular job. > “As we confront this issue, I know that the same arguments and criticisms will emerge,” she wrote. "One is the contention that there are not enough officers on the streets. The evidence, however, does not support this. In the early 2000s, when serious violent crimes were at their highest, police numbers were rising. “In 2008, when knife crime was far greater than the lows we saw in 2013-14, police numbers were close to the highest we'd seen in decades.” That is not how logic works. Mistaking cause and coincidence is something I learned about in grade two science. Crime is a complex matter that is affected my many variables. Number of police **is** one of those variables. So is the economy, immigration, culture, education, and many others. Referring to those anecdotes as evidence is proof that she is not qualified to make those decisions. Maybe the *Chief of Police* knows more about policing then.. I'm sorry what qualifications does she have? Does she think the UK doesn't need any police, now that knives are illegal? I hope she gets hit by a bus before she has a chance to get more innocents killed.
