I just wat to draw attention to an order that is easily overlooked: "Revoke order that aims to exclude undocumented immigrants from census"

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2021/01/20/executive-order-ensuring-a-lawful-and-accurate-enumeration-and-apportionment-pursuant-to-decennial-census/

I have nothing against immigrants legal or otherwise, however since a state's electoral votes and number of reps in congress are based on the number of people they have on the census it means that states with large populations of illegal immigrants will artificially gain votes/reps.

So why is this bad? Illegal immigrants can't vote.

That means that states have these populations can use them as a power grab to gain electoral votes and power in congress without having a population they are beholden to. This mean the net value of votes in these states are higher/more influential because they have more national power/representation but less people eligible to take part in the democratic process.

Of course most illegal immigrants aren't stupid enough to fill out a census. However this is the set up for a political tool/power grab for states like California and New Mexico.

Notice how everything Biden did offers no benefit to law-abiding citizens. He is the President and supposed to represent his citizens, but who is he representing?
