New rule could allow gas, firing squads for US executions

I don't see the point of a firing squad if smokes are banned

To die on my feet would be appealing, although they probably ruin it today and make you sit in a chair to protect yourself.

I like the combat idea for cases of terminal disease. One could go to Afghanistan or Chicago, for example.

If they're going to make you sit, then they might as well just use an electric chair.

A 9mm bullet costs way less than an electric chair. I'm sure they could find volunteers.
