He faces multiple charges, including intentional homicide, reckless endangerment and being a minor in possession of a firearm. Wisconsin law doesn’t permit minors to carry or possess a gun unless they’re hunting.

The sadness for me is that he's out on bail while the innocent victims are dead.

If you want to talk about breaking the law and facing consequences, examples of this and the like of Dylan roof are prime examples of why people are protesting the disparity of treatment between white and black people.

I guess Kyle should have let skateboard guy beat him senseless and let pistol guy have a clean shot.

If you saw a gun man pull up with a rifle, would you not try to defend yourself? Its a complicated situation, I'm not sure what you mean about the man with the pistol.

But the fact is this kid armed himself, crossed state lines and injected himself into this situation he had no part in. From the social media posts and shit I recall from the time. This kid set out to do harm to people he views as enemies. You can't say the same about his victims because they're fucking dead and can't state their side.

There is no need to defend myself from someone that is running away.

The guy that lost a bicep was bringing a pistol to bear on Kyle. He's still holding it afterwards

There were some journalists on the ground there. They were mad at Kyle's group for extinguishing the dumpster fire they were pushing towards a gas station.

Gaige Grosskreutz had a pistol in his hand when he attacked Kyle.

The kid defended himself. It's not complicated.

i think its also sad that if you listen to some people those men deserved to die because they have criminal histories

[–] Dii_Casses 2 points (+2|-0)

I feel that mischaracterizes it. We don't point to the criminal histories as proof they should die. We say that footage shows the only victim present was Kyle himself, and the criminal histories demonstrate they were habitual victimizers.

i dunno, when we were talking about it originally way back when, you in particular mentioned their criminal histories as proof they should die. ewerd and i disagreed. i remember it quite well because i thought it was disturbing.

kyle was a vigilante who had even less business being there than the protesters who also had no business being there. if he and the other vigilantes were not present, the only people the protesters could antagonize are the trained and equipped police.

a skateboard is hardly a deadly weapon.
