Except the only thing he burned was the flag. So the only arson was a 20$ flag, not a building or other property. The article doesn’t say he burned anything else. He even burned the flag in a parking lot, not exactly burning a church the ground with people inside.

That's a super misleading headline.
He got 30 days for the flag. He got 15 years for fucking arson. Also a year for reckless use of explosives.
