I think it's more than fair to hold the same standard here. No one is forcing CNN or any other news outlet to use specific reporters. Furthermore, no one is forced to use that news outlet anyway so there's no harm here.
Still throwing out a reporter for petty reasons isn't acceptable, IMO he should just have his seat relocated to the back.
