I totally agree. Now it's 'popular' to speak out, so they do, as much for personal publicity than anything else. But when it really counted, they never said a word.
A lot of this has a 'Salem Witch Hunt' quality to it, too ... but not defending this scumbag ... just others who may be caught up in BS.
I read some story about how Brad Pitt supposedly threatened to kill him if he ever made Gwyneth Paltrow feel uncomfortable again. All I could think was that Brad Pitt is such a huge name that making this guys crimes public and taking him down years ago would have so much put a dent in his armor or career. It's all a culture many big names chose to accept at the cost of lesser known actresses.

Guys a scumbag for sure but he's being used to scapegoat the entire industry. How many decades have actors and actresses ignored his behavior for a paycheck? It's easy to be outraged when it's popular and nets positive headlines.
