Nah, I practice a lot. It's nothing to go through a few thousand rounds. Even when we go hunting generally one day is spent just trying out each others newest guns and throwing lead down range. Good fun and good competition. I also enter a competition or two each year. Mainly I just bow hunt when I go by myself on a day trip. I will say I haven't got out enough so far this year.
Depends on the season but overall I'll generally get 3 a year. I've gone as high as 5 when others have requested me to get them some venison. It's more a social activity. I usually only bag any when I go bow hunting.
(not more than will be eaten, I've never been a trophy hunter but I have sold a rack or two over the years to idiots that decorate with em... If someone will give you money for something that would otherwise just sit in the garage...)
