The democrats have too long been like spoiled children. Myself, I think it's most important for a political party to govern according to the the framework of the Constitution, laws, etc instead of what makes them feel good in the moment. It doesn't matter if the balance of power is divided if half of them throw tantrums, legislate by emotion, etc.
When they fix this problem, they'll be worth electing and working with.

I'm the type of person who likes to see both houses of Congress divided. I don't like the idea of them rubber-stamping any President's agenda. Yes, I'd prefer it if they were adults who could converse as such, but I'm always leery of the ever-expanding Federal behemoth.
