She had lied about her past and told the press "there where no photo's of her in uniform" . The same night she got sworn in articles and photo's of her in Surinamese military uniform got published and it became clear she served in the Suriname Army under the Desi Bouterse Era

Seems like something stupid to lie about...many people were bound to have some sort of proof of that.

It was extremely short sighted and stupid. She was in office for 4-6 hours.
