[The following takes place in the Western European Theatre of the Second World War.]

Some American soldiers took pleasure in abusing the German prisoners at their mercy:

I mail you and daddy a watch I hope you like it […] it is a nice watch. Also the one I got it off was a German Cpt Ha Ha he did not like it so I got mad and let him have it all if you get what I mean […] he force me to shoot him and for me I love to shoot him.
