Well, it's certainly not specific to foreign influence. It's a successful tactic to stir shit. It will probably work in many countries, but that the US is particularly and demonstrably vulnerable is the point.

All you have to do is read the news and there's plenty to argue about. If a Russian agent post shit on FB about abortion or immigration, I don't see how it makes a difference, as all of that stuff is already out there in abundance.

I think this is a rather poor demonstration of "vulnerability to foreign influence".
