There's an embargo on Huawei for a reason and it's a good reason.

Christ, it's like companies are terminally stupid or something.

Not stupid, obsessively greedy. All they care about is making money, and not even making money in the long term but rather making money this quarter and year. We need a system that encourages long-term incentives instead of chasing unsustainable year-over-year growth.

The first rule of economics is that there is no profit in the long term. The second is that as long as your company breaks even, it costs more to close it down.

That should tell you exactly everything you need to know about business.
