How long until the AI is called racist?

It already has been. But discussions around this are inevitably pointless blowing hot air and arguing with people who can't agree on definitions of what racist even means.

Does it mean some groups get treated differently by the system? Yes, of course. That's in fact the whole purpose of the system; if it didn't do that, it wouldn't be separating groups into categories anyway. Does it mean variables such as skin color, background, religion, sex, etc are inputs in the system? That really doesn't matter, and the data should go in directly anyway.

Dark-skinned people need to start bleaching their skin to ensure there is enough contrast when in ambient-lit areas in order to fight the racist video processing and facial recognition algorithms
