My company had everyone change their password every 60 days, some people would use easy passwords like birthdays and others would use complex passwords.

Mine forces changing ever 90 days. You can't reuse passwords for 5 years and your password can't few too similar to a previous one. I had to make my passwords less secure so I could remember them because I would constantly lock myself out of my account every time after changing passwords

My little trick was a using the first letter to a song. Mädels aus dem Bayerwald Sag'n die Leut

MadBSdL. I was the IT department and employees would call for help for a week after the password change.

I use the same password and increase the number at the end by one. Easy to keep track of.

The company I work for is doing away with traditional passwords entirely as well. Basically you have a YubiKey and you create a relatively short pin/password that you enter then have to physically press the token while it's plugged into your usb slot to generate the rest of your login.

i have a disability that makes typing and writing extremely hard and my company bought a proximity authentication system that automatically logs me in when i am three feet from the desktop sensor for my computer

So what exactly does the desktop sensor sense? Do you need to carry something with you?

its like my id badge but a little thicker and when i get within for feet of my workstation it unlocks and moving that far away from my desk locks it again
