honestly, this is a good thing, it is proof that identity politics doesn't work. It shows that meritocracy its the best method of organizing society in general. Of coarse we should have things to help those that can't help themselves but in general allowing the best and brightest rise to the top makes for the best world. If you encourage those best and brightest to take care of those who can't everyone wins.

What the hell is Latinx... should that be either "latin" or "latin american"? Why the hell do we need to be splitting hairs on gender terms? Use the damn existing terms, quit making shit up.
I also don't really get the quota thing either. Diversity doesn't really gain you anything other than societal brownie points.
