Something else for them to ruin.

It's already going down hill due to SJW stuff.

This just might be the nail.

The sad thing is that you can use visual studio hooked into GIT on the visualstudio.com website repository. It's git but with a different website front end.

Team Foundation Server sucks horribly, geez. But GIT isn't any better with how complicated it is and how many different tools you need to use to get it to work right. Microsoft, of course, will try to fix that and make it worse than it already is.

Think about this...

All those codes of conduct and talk about being a welcoming community were necessary so that they could become an attractive, bland target for a large company's portfolio. Big companies don't like buying things that encourage anti-authority tendencies, so before GitHub could sellout, they had to "tame" the traditionally unrulable and independent-thinking tech community. Virtue signaling was just a nice bonus.

Never for a minute buy talk of ethics or virtue from politicians of businessmen, instead ask cui bono?

When it comes to our commitment to open source, judge us by the actions we have taken in the recent past, our actions today, and in the future.

Sure thing. That is fair. https://twitter.com/jamiebuilds/status/1002696910266773505
