It probably shouldn't surprise me that people need to be informed that once they publicly reveal information, it is no longer 'private'.
I agree that Zuckerberg and others are villains, but to cry foul when they took what was freely given? Not the correct approach, in my opinion.
We need protections on personal information and tracking information. Private information when collected as private information (doctor, lawyer, private spaces, other legal stuff) is already protected by law.
