So I guess that's not 'full body', though I hear metal 3D printing is making big strides lately. I don't know enough to say whether a polymer chassis would be something reasonable for the future.

Interesting. Skimming the article it sounds like they have a full polymer body? I'd be extremely curious to see how it does in standard crash tests. (I may have missed something -- feel free to correct if so!)
