I stream all my shows (HTPC) and up till 2 weeks ago never had a problem mostly from https://www1.watchseries.fm/, then I click on my show and got a pop up plus a Trojan. Clean install and now I'm looking for a new streaming site.

And from my experience you are forced to watch commercials for example NBC blacklist at the beginning is a commercial and many more to follow. I use uBlock Origin and it does not stop crap on NBC,CBS and so on.

You can add rules and lists that do block all the mess. Try a search for the ones that work best with your browser.

Thanks for the advice, however I looked and only see check box with on or off.
