Well I'm also always a fan of investigating if things seem fishy. I just prefer it be done by professionals in pursuit of the truth, rather than someone who has an agenda, or is making a profit.
If there is evidence, then it would not be difficult to get law enforcement to look into it.
Trial by media is not necessary, can be suspect at times, and is more likely to interfere with an investigation, than aid it.
Also, there are going to be times where an injustice slips through. It is a bitter pill, but one we must swallow if we're going to have any justice at all.

I agree with you. I just find the Scientology shit shady as fuck on this case. His file at the LAPD got "lost", the captain of the Hollywood division of the department has been seen at the Scientology celebrity center and also accepted donations from Scientology. I believe in innocent until proven guilty but I have doubts that his case is being handled without tampering.
