1) New laptop or try to mess around with a dodgy ebay replacment keyboard unit for about 40 bucks.

2) Master the shitty art of Onscreen keyboard use.

3) Disable normal keyboard and velcro a thin wireless keyboard on top of it.

I've had pretty good luck with those "dodgy ebay replacement keyboards" when I used them. They're not quite the same quality up close, but if you don't know any better you wouldn't know once they're installed.

Can confirm, I've installed lots of these on lots of different brands/models, except my source is usually Amazon.
