People keep stealing ‘420’ milepost signs, but Washington state has a quirky solution

I'm surprised that the solution is so reasonable. I was half-expecting them to plant covert GPS trackers, increase fines by an astronomical amount and start arresting people.

They did this in Florida years ago. The 420 marker on I-75 is kinda close to Gainesville (FL Gators uni). It was replaced probably 100 times.

Washington already did it too back in 2012. This article is way behind with the times.
