Bill Burr - I'm Sorry You Feel That Way.

I always thought he was hilarious, and I enjoyed his other specials, but it always seemed like there was something stopping him from turning it up a level on stage. I don't know what it was, but he figured it out. I actually remember being shocked halfway through the special at how good it was.

Everything is more polished than the other specials and he seems a lot more relaxed on stage.

I actually saw him live in a NY cellar comedy club in 2001.

How was he? I have seen some of his stuff from around 2004 and it is not great.

He was angry and did a bit where he ended up being chased by the NYPD and he jumps into the Hudson. Was only a 20-25 min per comedian. It was pretty funny, but then again we had been drinking.

I literally just finished watching Why Do I Do This? and I've always felt that way about Burr. I have always felt he has somewhere else he needs to take his comedy. I'll definitely look into that one and watch it
