I watch football to see people hit each and throw a ball, not for some women(or men) dancing in flashy outfits. I don't care at all about the cheerleaders.
A good friend of mine went into dance as a young man. He got so much shit. Ended up leaving town to go to school in another country.
Made it to Broadway as a dancer, was injured pretty famously, turned to acting, now is starring on traveling Broadway shows, hoping to get back to Broadway.
Not once, however, did he ever consider taking a female's part away from them. He was a male dancer, not a male trying to be a female dancer.
People might think this is great/terrible, but is it really that necessary to have a man take a woman's job away from them? It's not enlightened. It's misogynist.
edit: spelled "starring" as "staring". Creepy!
After 40 years of being a fan I haven't watched an NFL game in over a year. I'm done with the NFL.
