I doubt it will produce good results. The sediment will float about randomly. The without gravity the alcohol will not float to the top and will drown the things that produce it. I have no idea what the g-forces and atmospheric braking will do when it comes down.

The space program has room for this stuff? I don't know that it even rises to the level of advertising gimmick.

It will still be important on some level. Analysis on samples both during the time it is on the space station and back on Earth probably provides information that is more valuable than the cost of sending it up there.
