BTW, you don't need space knowledge to know Oppy is dead, but electronics, especially batteries. It also helps knowing that winter is coming, on Mars.

Batteries I sort of know how they work.
Then you probably know that if you discharge them too much, you can't recharge them. Or that they perform worse at low temperatures. Or that they don't work very well after 15 and a half years.

Oh, that's too bad. I think space stuff is cool but I don't understand most of it or how it works.
