I mean Google, Amazon, Apple etc.. literally buy up all their competition and the FTC stays silent.
I used to work for amazon and I had many meetings with their VP's and current CEO. They bragged constantly how much the US government and 3 letter agencies depended on AWS. When they bought the company I worked for, the acquisitions officer said they were averaging 4 purchases per year. Oddly you never hear about those.
It wouldn't be 6 months until musk took control, FTC interfering with an obviously bogus charge would delay takeover until after the next US elections.
I have no idea what "The Open Markets Institute" is, who funds them, or what their ideology might be, but from this idiotic comment, it's pretty clear that their statement truthfully applies to themselves.
