Yup, that's the state of affairs in Western culture. While there is a low-intensity cultural civil war going on where one side is in a race to dismantle everything about their country's history and principles (e.g. disowning free speech), the Chinese are unified and aiming for national greatness. It's fairly obvious how this is going to turn out. I doubt transgender bathrooms, trigger warnings, or lectures on microaggressions will prove of any value on the battlefield or as unifying propagada devices compared to previous battle cries of our freedom and liberty that those "other guys" we're fighting don't have and hate.
But I'm sure those big brain foreign policy guys in DC have this all figured out how the world will embrace our neoliberal, cultural marxist ideologies, gay weddings, etc with open arms and I'm just an idiot for thinking these beliefs are nearly universally reviled across all cultures. As Mike Tyson said, "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face."

Interestingly, this is one area where diversity of thought is needed. All the "diversity and inclusion" and "affirmative action" bullshit totally misses the point: adding people of different skin colors or genitals doesn't help anything. What you need is different perspectives and ideas. If psychologists, sociologists, women's studies departments weren't such echo chambers of political leftists, they could have written a better paper by including the things you are pointing out.
