It's a 12 hour window. Plenty of time to vote before or after work. If you're in line by 7pm they stay open for you. If that still doesn't work you can vote by mail. Although you have to have the foresight to pre-register for the mail in ballot.

Not really. By me you can register to vote by mail or you can go to the poll center from 7am to 7pm.
I go to the poll and I'm in and out in 15 minutes.
