The Manifesto of the Vegetable Peace Coalition

What is the Vegetable Peace Coalition?

The primary belief of the Vegetable Peace Coalition is that the world order currently in place on Phuks is directly responsible for an immense amount of Tyranny and needless suffering.

The Broccoli Empire is a totalitarian state, run by a figurehead who may or may not even exist. The Broccoli people have no concept of free thought or speech or press, and their entire lives are structured around the lunatic whims of the /s/broccoli mod team. Dissidents are brutally punished without a legitimate trial and usually disappear never to be seen again.

The Cabbage regime, despite their blood-soaked history of colonizing and subjugating the Broccolis after the great war, have made a point to maintain an image of peace, freedom, and diversity on their sub. The reality is anything but. The Cabbage economy largely relies on child-slave labor. Despite the denial of /s/Cabbage, the U.N. has confirmed there are at least 15,000 involuntary workers under the age of 18 working in cabbage fields and sauerkraut mines. Though their last successful invasion of foreign soil was years ago, their intentions for peace or deescalation remain to be seen.

The Brussels Sprout separatist movement, though small, is a growing and dangerous militia that split off from the cabbages. Their main quarrel with their sister-vegetable seems to be that the cabbages are attempting to clean their image and hide their crimes against humanity; the sprouts on the other hand wish to wear their savagery on their sleeves. This is likely fueled by a desire to appear strong, and prove that Brussels Sprouts are not, in fact, just tiny cabbages, as old broccoli propaganda once claimed.

If these groups, and their path of utter destruction in war and domestic tyranny is not stopped, it is destined that all brassicas, perhaps even all vegetables, will lose out. The overall mission of the VPC is, simply, to save vegetable-kind.

What are the goal of the VPC?

  1. Overthrowing the contemporary Broccoli, Cabbage, and Brussels Sprouts regimes, and instituting free liberal democracies in their place

  2. A peaceful and quick resolution to the Broccoli-Cabbage war, and dis-involvement of any and all other factions implicated therein

How will the VPC accomplish these goals?

Shitposting

Call to Action:

Ever since I betrayed the Empire I've been convinced that I was alone, and that my moral crusade was going to be futile in the end.

But I can see in the shitposters of Phuks that that is wrong. You can tell that the people are frustrated and angry, and have grown weary of the conflict. You can see little acts of defiance against the Broccoli Empire. You can see the occasional Cabbage talking-up the other vegetables.

I believe in the hearts of the people of Phuks, deep down, is a desire for things to be different. That, is out seedling of hope. And with that seedling, together, we will grow the greatest vegetable there is:

Freedom!
