Only shady when you fail to cite that which you try to disprove. Or do you assert that there must be many papers by authors who agree with you whom you can cite before you can be non-shady? Like, you can't be correct if everyone else doesn't already say so?

If you want to proof everyone else wrong you need some better arguments than this 6 page not peer reviewed, unpublished paper has.
