I hate to sound heartless, but if we are going to introduce something into Africa that will even further alleviate one of the few population controls, it needs to be done hand-in-hand with some sort of massive birth control program. Africa is a goddamn human consumption time bomb. Once their economies modernize and Africans start demanding cars and air conditioners by the billions, this planet is fucked.
