This harsh childhood effect maybe makes some sense to me. Perhaps this also makes people more likely to form bonds (including sexual ones) with any decent person they have in their lives, regardless of their gender.

I think that's true and can relate to that as a guy. I'd probably score low on abuse surveys as I was never hit not even spanked as a child and had rather decent parents, only somewhat emotionally neglected as my mother had severe depressive phases. I had a babysitter who was very motherly including cuddling and kissing me like a mother and I did form a very strong bond with her. I guess that would qualify as "grooming". Eventually we did some sexual stuff, which in itself didn't feel bad, on a physical level I really enjoyed it, but it was also always disgusting because it felt exactly like having passionate sex with a big sister or even mother.
I could imagine that bisexuals simply have a much higher sex-drive, but "lesbians" having twice the pregnancy risk is counter-intuitive.
Is there really much of a stigma for lesbians and bisexual women? I've heard gay and faggot used as slurs, I've never heard lesbian as a slur.
There are no doubt negative stereotypes, like lesbians being manhaters - but so much so that one would fuck someone they don't want to fuck? You could never shame me into voluntary fucking someone I dislike or am not attracted to! I suspect there's much more to it.
