I have a hard time respecting scientists that get emotional. If you can’t make an argument without emotion, it’s a shitty argument. I’m a scientist myself expect better from my peers. Unfortunately, education in the sciences is slowly being poisoned by all the nonsense at universities.

The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists do indeed have a very anti-nuclear stance--which is perhaps surprising given their members work in that industry--and their "doomsday clock" is pretty insufferable. They have good technical content, however.
