Where does pity come from? Fear or love?

Pity and anger anger are from a disrespect actions. Your not doing yourself any favors by making excuses for the behavior of others.

My position is that I'm not elaborating or trying to interpret events other than for what they appear to be.

The premise of the quote is to give validity to something that you would otherwise disapprove of. You disrespect it on it's surface.
