This is Sungha Jung. He is now an adult and, strangely, has chosen a career in k-pop.
He was quiet young for this but this arrangement is like 10x more difficult than Metallica's own version. The arrangement blends both the lead and the rhythm, and he is playing both guitar parts.
He is probably in the list of top 20 guitarists alive today. He'd be on my list, but I had quite a few dead artists to cover and his body of original work is not large. You're looking at a kid who probably put a minimum of 8 hours a day into learning the guitar.
If you go back through his work, his progress is stunning and he has been playing since not long after he was a toddler.
I admit my bias. I have been in contact with him, off and on, for a very long time. However, I still feel I can objectively state that he is "mind-blowingly-awesome."
When I want to wow people, I drop my rendition of his arrangement of The Buggle's song, Video Killed The Radio Star. I will upload that and add it as a link in a comment.

This is mind-blowingly difficult. It is one of the most difficult things I play. Jung is a better guitarist than I am.
