I watch a documentary and she had a truly bad life, only time people would visit was when she had party's and drugs. Just before her death she meet someone great but to late.

I'm sure what she went through was a source of her need to express herself so profoundly in her singing, and eventually even that wasn't enough. But the brightest stars burn out quickly.

If that was the doc I think you saw, I felt the saddest part was her High School reunion she went to. After all the bullying and cruel remarks she went through, she worked up the courage to face them again, hoping her talent and success would have changed their treatment of her. But of course, it was just more pain. I get the feeling she never felt truly loved and appreciated. If only she could have seen how much respect she has since her death. Maybe that's why I sense so much of her pain when listening to her.
