I'm never going to get around to playing that Korean themed visual novel.

I played one called Highway Blossoms and it was so good I am actually depressed because I finished it.

If anyone can point me in the direction of a visual novel with a lesbian protagonist that will fill the gaping chasm in my soul, that would be helpful.

Thanks.

Sort of. The one I played has no choices.

TFW you start playing them as a joke and it turns out they're actually pretty good.

What play is there if there are no choices?

Sometimes the ones with no choices are actually better, especially the longer ones. If you have 15 hours of story, adding choices that branch off into different paths generally decreases the quality of the writing because you have less time to spend on perfecting each segment of the story. If you're only concentrating on one linear story, it is usually better and flows more naturally than if you branch off.

Some of them try and deal with this problem by giving the illusion of choice. If you pick option C, the next few lines of dialogue might be different to option A, but then it will rejoin the main storyline and won't affect the rest of the game. So there is basically no point in having the choice.
