The power button does nothing.
I think she may have hooked the power pins to the wrong header.
Shame I didn't get a pic of her disappointed face.

Yup, power cables were in the wrong place. Quick fix. Got it to power up. But there's something interfering with the PSU fan and making a ruckus. Gotta pull it out which just sucks.
