I picked up a 6 pack of rgb fans a week or two ago. The installation went smoothly and I was quite happy with my fans(still am TBH) however I noticed a rattling coming from one that was mounted to the top of my case.

I assumed it may be because of the way gravity was pulling on the bearings, and planned to swap it for one on the bottom to see if that would resolve the noise.

I was prompted to write a review of my purchase and did that, mentioning the loud fan but saying I was quite satisfied otherwise, and went on with my life.

Today I found a package with 3 new fans and 2 led strips from the company. A package I actually had saved in my cart for later.

So I was extremely baffled. My account didn't show anything, neither did my bank statement. I planned on calling customer service in the morning, but in the meantime decided to scour my email.

Finally, buries in my junk mail folder was an email from the company. They saw my review and the issue with the fan and sent me a whole new package to replace it.

So yeah, sometimes bitching does solve problems and now I dont have to buy led strips.

Bitching does work, if you can update your review to tell them rest of the people how awesome they are then do it!

I had a similar thing happen to me with some Corsair RAM a long time ago. I ordered 2 sticks of super low latency RAM from them like 9 years ago and one stick was DOA. Posted on their forums and they were baffled, they test every stick like 100x before it leaves the manufacturing building. They sent me 3 sticks to fill out my 4 slots as an inconvenience makup thingy. It was awesome.

I'll be sure to do that. I didn't even make a real fuss about the loud fan, or even contact the company directly for that matter. So I really respect their preemptive customer service.

That's whatsup with the corsair RAM. I've I always thought of them as a respectable manufacturer, long before I actually started looking into computer parts. Unfortunately their quality comes with a higher price tag, which has previously prohibited me from buying more of their products.
