do fans come on and how many beeps when powered on? Most systems have one single beep to signal that everything is ok. three beeps or long beeps means that there is a power, bios setting, memory, or graphics card issue depending on the pattern of beeps.

If it is a single beep, try changing the monitor cable to another spot. (hdmi/vga/dvi) Sometimes a bios setting will make one the default one and you have to either change the setting or move the cable to the other port.

Double check power lines to the GPU. Make sure the PCI is actually clicked in. Double check monitor cable. Double check monitor power. Try the same GPU in another system. Try another GPU in the new system.

Do you have a video out on your motherboard that you can try instead of the video card? If so, try removing the video card and try using that and see what happens.

Well now that I sobered up I feel really stupid.

I had the monitor plugged directly into the Mobo instead of the GPU.

It's working now.

Thank you for the advice though everyone.
