This make me furious.
We used to pay once for a game that took between 6 months and forever, to finish.
Now we pay significantly more for a couple hours of gameplay, then pay-as-you-go add-ons after that.
Fuck them all.
I refuse to purchase any games that offer any additional paid content.

I do the exact same thing. I don't mind games that only have cosmetic purchases though. Skins have helped keep csgo alive as an esport but never helped anyone win a game.

Yeah, I'm usually ok with cosmetic stuff, and I think it can be a good model when used in a mutually beneficial way.
