LOL a literal light switch. You don't see that anymore. I've got an ancient craftsman circular saw with what looks to be the identical switch on it. It still works like a champ after putting a new cord on it. It's seriously dangerous by modern standards. It's going to literally run across the floor if you drop it b/c it doesn't have a trigger style switch.

Yeah... but people then were trusted with a great deal more than people now... I fear we're running to a point where you need a license to operate a basic hammer at the workplace.... and there's already site orientation if you do new builds... sad state we're at... state also just became a pun here while I'm finished lol

Reminds me of all the "coffee is hot" warnings b/c of that lady at mcdonalds years ago.

yeah they do a lot of dumb labels now but to be fair they were superheating coffee to keep it warmer longer... ever seen the Stella Leibeck and the Mcdonalds case
