I have a very healthy mix of friends on all side of the political arena. Took a year of Trump being in office to figure out which ones were absolutely crazy and which ones were worth conversations though.
Which group did you take the most from? Trump supporters or trump haters?
The most flack? Trump haters, believe it or not. Apparently things like "free speech" and "due process" are things Trump haters only like if the recipient is a Trump hater. Republicans, centrists, etc. seem to not be worth the ink the Constitution was written with. And if you support equal application of rights and laws, you're a white supremacist somehow. I'm not exactly sure how that works but because Trump was elected, a lot of people showed their inner crazy. As far as I can tell, those people don't belong in either egalitarian or meritocratic societies. I don't agree with a lot of things republicans do or say but I agree with almost nothing modern democrats do and say anymore and I'm firmly convinced that while Republicans aren't exactly the most healthy party for the US, democrats will straight up destroy it.
Nope, my circle is 100% pro-life.
